StampWorld ("the app") is a mobile application that lets travellers record the places they visit with GPS and photo verification, collecting a digital passport and badges. This policy explains what data we collect, why, and what your rights are.

Photo retention: Task photos are kept for 7 days for moderation purposes only and are then deleted from the server automatically. Your profile photo is persistent: it is kept until you change it, remove it, or delete your account — deleting your account also permanently removes your profile photo from the server. Uploaded photos may be reviewed and removed by us following a report of inappropriate content.
What we do not collect: No background location tracking (location is only accessed with "while in use" permission). We do not access your contacts, messages or other data on your device. Your data is never sold to third parties. We use Google AdMob to show ads; if you consent, your advertising identifier is shared with AdMob for that purpose only — this is not a sale, and you can withdraw consent at any time in your device settings.
Your location is accessed only at the moment you verify a task, with "while using the app" permission. The coordinate obtained is used momentarily to compute your distance to the task point and is not saved. The only thing recorded is that the task was completed (task ID + date).
All data is stored on Supabase infrastructure hosted within the European Union (Frankfurt, Germany) and encrypted in transit (TLS).
Your display name and total points are shown to other users on the global/local leaderboards. Your badges and basic statistics are visible only to your mutually accepted friends. Your visit history (which locations you have travelled to) is never shown to any user.
Access and rectification: You can change your name inside the app.
Deletion: Via Profile → Settings → Delete Account
you can permanently delete your account and all of your data (completions,
badges, friendships, points). This action is irreversible and immediate.

StampWorld is not directed at users under 13 and does not knowingly collect data from this age group.
When this policy is updated, the date in the header is refreshed; significant changes are announced inside the app.
