Terms of Use

This English translation is provided for convenience. In case of any discrepancy, the Turkish version prevails.

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the StampWorld mobile application ("the app", "the service"). By downloading the app and creating an account you accept these Terms. If you do not accept them, do not use the app.

1. Description of the Service

StampWorld is a mobile application that lets travellers record the places they visit with GPS and photo verification, collecting a digital passport, badges and leaderboard points. The service may change over time; new features may be added or some features removed, and these Terms may be updated accordingly.

2. Account Creation

You need an account to use the app. If you are under 13 you may not use the app. (This is a contractual minimum age required to consent to the processing of personal data; it is separate from the App Store content rating — 4+. The content rating describes the app's content as suitable for all ages, while the 13 limit here is the age required to create an account.) You accept that the information you provide at sign-up (email, display name, country) is accurate and that you are responsible for the security of your account (keeping your password secret). You are responsible for the activity that takes place on your account.

3. Task Verification and Acceptable Use

Tasks are verified with your real location (GPS) and, where required, a photo. The following behaviours are strictly prohibited; if detected, the related task/points may be cancelled and your account may be suspended or permanently closed:

• Faking your GPS location (location spoofing tools)
• Uploading photos unrelated to the task, taken from the internet, or belonging to another user
• Completing tasks with automation, bots or similar tools
• Any other method that abuses the leaderboard or badge system

4. User Content (Photos and Profile Information)

The photos you upload for task verification and the information shown on your profile (display name, avatar) belong to you. You grant us permission to use this content solely for task verification, moderation and the operation of the service. Content that is inappropriate, misleading or in breach of these Terms may be removed by us. Photo retention periods and the moderation process are described in the Privacy Policy.

5. Premium Subscription

StampWorld Premium is an auto-renewing subscription offered as a Monthly or Yearly plan.

• Price: Shown on the purchase screen through the store your account is linked to (App Store / Google Play), localised for your region, and charged to that store account.
• Auto-renewal: The subscription renews automatically for the same period and the renewal fee is charged to your account, unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• Cancellation: Cancellation is done not inside the app but from your device's store account settings (iOS: Settings → [Your Name] → Subscriptions; Android: Google Play → Subscriptions). Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period.
• Refunds: We do not issue refunds for the unused portion of a period that has already started. Refund requests are subject to the refund policy of the store where you made the purchase (Apple or Google).
• Free trial: No free trial is currently offered.
• If you have a previously purchased subscription, you can restore it on another device signed in with the same store account using "Restore Purchases".

6. Intellectual Property

The app's design, code, logo and badge/passport artwork belong to StampWorld. You may not copy, distribute or create derivative works from them without permission.

7. Provision of the Service and Limitation of Liability

The service is provided "as is". We are not responsible for outages or errors caused by factors outside our control, such as location accuracy, third-party map services (Google Maps) and network connectivity. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we cannot be held liable for indirect damages arising from use of the service.

8. Account Closure

You can permanently delete your account at any time via Profile → Settings → Delete Account. We reserve the right to suspend or close your account in the event of a breach of these Terms.

9. Changes

When these Terms are updated, the date in the header is refreshed; significant changes are announced inside the app. Continuing to use the app after an update means you accept the current Terms.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye.
